Privacy policy

ToonSlides ("we", "us") operates ToonSlides. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our website and service, why we collect it and the choices you have.

Data we collect

  • Account data: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.
  • Content you create: topics, scripts, captions and the images generated for your carousels.
  • Billing data: subscription status and plan. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe — we never see them.
  • Usage data: what you generate and when, so we can enforce plan limits and prevent abuse.
  • Technical data: essential cookies that keep you signed in, plus standard server logs (IP address, browser type).

How we use your data

  • To provide the service: writing scripts, illustrating slides and storing your carousels.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send essential emails, such as sign-in codes and billing receipts.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your content to advertise to you.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, under contracts that protect your data:

  • Supabase — authentication, database and private image storage.
  • Google (Gemini API) — generating slide scripts and images from your prompts.
  • Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
  • Our hosting provider — serving the website.

Retention

We keep your account and carousels while your account is active. You can delete individual carousels at any time from your dashboard. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal data and content within 30 days, except where we must keep billing records by law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email below. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies required to keep you signed in and to secure the service. We don't use advertising cookies.
