Terms of service

The service

ToonSlides uses AI models to write carousel scripts and generate illustrated images from the topics and instructions you provide. AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected; you are responsible for reviewing content before you publish it.

Accounts

You must provide a valid email address and keep your login secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. One free trial is available per person; creating multiple accounts to obtain extra trials isn't allowed.

Free trial and subscriptions

New accounts may create 1 carousel of up to 6 slides free of charge. Continued use requires a paid monthly subscription.

• Subscriptions renew automatically each month until cancelled.
• Each plan includes a monthly allowance of illustrated slides that resets each billing period and does not roll over.
• You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to create or distribute content that:

• is illegal, or promotes violence, hatred or harassment;
• is sexually explicit, or sexualises minors in any way;
• impersonates real people or organisations, or is designed to deceive (including misleading health, financial or political claims);
• infringes anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• violates the usage policies of our AI model providers.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

Your content

As between you and us, you own the inputs you provide and, to the extent permitted by law, the outputs generated for you. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service. Paid plans include the right to use your carousels commercially, including in advertising. Output may not be unique, and similar images may be generated for other users.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 3 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes and termination

We may update these terms; we'll notify you of material changes. You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.
